Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how thehalloffame.lol collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the site or pay for a listing. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

Who is responsible

The Service is operated independently and is reachable at @mousoommudoi on X or by email at mousoom.personal@gmail.com.

What we collect

We keep the Service small. We collect only what we need to run the board, take payment, and stop abuse.

• Listing data. The product URL you submit, the category you choose, and the public name, logo, and favicon we fetch for that URL.
• Payment confirmation. Dodo Payments sends us a confirmation that you paid and an order identifier so we can assign the slot. We never see or store your card number — Dodo Payments collects that directly. See Dodo Payments’ own privacy notice for how they handle it.
• Technical data. Standard request data (IP address, user agent) is processed briefly to rate-limit abuse. We do not store a persistent visitor profile.
• Messages you send us. If you message us on X or by email about a listing or a rights notice, we keep that correspondence as needed to respond.

Cookies and tracking

thehalloffame.lol does not set any cookies and does not run any analytics or advertising script. The site itself tracks nothing about you between visits. Dodo Payments’ checkout page, which is on their domain and outside our control, may set its own cookies under its own privacy notice.

Why we use this data

• Contract. To take payment, create your listing, and show it on the board.
• Legitimate interests. To keep the board free of abuse (rate limits) and to defend legal claims.
• Legal obligation. To keep accounting and complaint records where the law requires it.

Public listings

The name, logo, category, and destination link of a listing are public. Anyone can see them, including search engines. Do not list a destination if you do not want that information shown. We fetch public metadata (name, logo, favicon) from the site you submit so visitors can recognize the listing; that fetch may disclose to the destination that thehalloffame.lol requested the page.

Who we share data with

• Dodo Payments — checkout and payment confirmation, as merchant of record.
• Supabase — database hosting for listing and payment records.
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure for the site itself.
• Authorities or a buyer of the Service if we must share data to comply with law, enforce the Terms, or transfer the project.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

• Listing entries stay while the listing is on the board, and may remain in backups for a limited time after removal.
• Payment identifiers are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, and dispute handling.

Your rights

If a data-protection law such as the GDPR applies to you, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, and to restrict or object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Message @mousoommudoi on X or email mousoom.personal@gmail.com. Public listing content that is also on your own website is not made private just by appearing on the board; you can ask us to remove the listing.

Children

The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the data we can identify.

Changes

We may update this policy when the Service or the law changes. The date at the top of this page is the current version. If a change is material, we will post the updated policy here.
